Board Members
Coastal High School is a unique charter high school that emphasizes leadership through a culture of project based learning and mastery. Board Members can be parents of CHS students or non parent community members. Applications due dates are announced one month prior to the date.
DECEMBER 9-11 202 ELECTION RESULTS
Due to hazardous travel conditions caused by this weekend’s inclement weather and the school operating as an eLearning day, the Board Meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 3 at 6:00 p.m. has been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 10 at 6:00 p.m.
Board Member Qualifications
- Must have a High School Diploma or have completed a GED program
- Must be a South Carolina resident
- Must not have been convicted of a felony
- Former employees or contract vendors must wait 24 months before running for the board
- Attend monthly board and committee meetings along with an annual retreat
Board Meeting Information
Board Meetings are held the last Tuesday of the Month at 6:00 PM at the school or zoom as posted on the agenda.
